The Insomniacs are a group of five students from St. Lambert, Quebec, Canada who decided to write songs about their college experiences. Most of our songs are satirical, and some are just plain stupid, but we've always had fun doing them, and haven't met a person yet that hasn't laughed at at least one part.

Fred (or Frappy as he's also known) is the mastermind behind this amateur band, and plays and writes most of the music. He plays guitar, piano, and harmonica, and does the bulk of the vocals as well.

Devon (Devo) is the redhead of the group, and also is the crazy vocalist, doing all the extreme voices and lots of the background vocals/voices. He is also a very talented drummer and will sometimes pull out his bass too.

Alec (Al The Pal) is the giant of the band. He does all the DEEP vocals, and is often our inspiration for the songs, and some easy drumming.

Nick (Grime) is the writer/poet of the group, and always finds good words/rhymes and grammar in the writing of the songs. He has no musical talent whatsoever (except for playing the guitar slide and harmonica rank (his improvised instrument)). Nick also sometimes does voices or impressions during the songs.

Jo was the last member to join the band, a capable guitarist, he will team with fred for some of our future masterpieces. Also a master of the high vocals.

Everyone takes part in writing the songs, in both English and French (seeing as we're a bilingual group), and we draw inspiration from our often hilarious everyday experiences. Some of the songs were also created while we were drinking, but it just goes further in supporting the argument that alcohol can be inspiration too. We hope you enjoy our work,
